Hemiptera: an insect order often called "The True Bugs," include shield bugs like the one pictured here. Not a beneficial, they have piercing/sucking mouthparts; therefore, they are plant "sap suckers."

My little take home treat: mustard greens and mizuna. Also, the peas the K class planted on April first are finally starting to be harvestable, so I plucked handful of them to take home to my son.
